There are not enough words to express how thrilled we are with our photos from Giselle. We chose her to capture our very small and intimate October wedding and we could not be happier that we did. Admittedly, we were worried about hiring a photographer for a small wedding of only 14 people, but having Giselle there felt like having a good friend attend, who also happened to be a very talented photographer. Giselle made us and everyone at the wedding feel comfortable and this shows in our photos. Giselle was very professional and is lovely person and the photographs that she takes are even lovelier. We would highly recommend her and I can't wait for an excuse to hire her again :)

Highly recommend Giselle!! We wanted wedding photos that didn't look overly staged or extremely edited, and found Giselle's portfolio suited our taste. My husband and I booked her to take photos at our intimate wedding ceremony, family photos, and bride and groom photos. Neither of us are used to being photographed and we were worried that we would be awkward, but Giselle is so friendly and made us feel incredibly comfortable and we ended up having a great time. She was able to direct us in a way that was helpful rather than pushy. Overall she was incredibly professional, easy to communicate with, and had great recommendations for photo locations around Halifax. We are so, so happy with both the experience and with the pictures - Giselle captured the day beautifully!

Giselle was our photographer for our recent wedding and she was amazing! She made us feel so comfortable and had us laughing the whole time. Neither myself nor my wife are usually very comfortable in front of the camera but Giselle made all the photoshoots feels effortless and fun. We couldn't love the results more, the photos are outstanding!

Gisele was absolutely amazing to work with. She was super accommodating with our many change of plans and always game to follow us along. She was super insightful and professional with her approach and really came up with a plan out of thin air with what would look great for our venue. She made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera and the pictures turned out amazing. We had lots of fun which we don’t usually have when taking pictures. Both of our families commented on how wonderful our photographer was. We highly recommend Gisele as your wedding photographer!

There aren’t enough words to describe Giselle. Professional, comfortable, friendly, fun; it was as if she was an old friend hanging out with us taking pictures (yet we met the day of the wedding). We are so in love with our photos. She provided us with over 700 pictures and had them back to us within weeks of the wedding. We were amazed. I really wanted family newborn pictures to capture the tiny little features of our daughter but was worried myself and my partner would be incredibly awkward being photographed. Giselle was amazing in making us feel comfortable in front of the camera and now we have such incredible photos now to look back on. I can’t believe how good they turned out! Giselle was also very understanding when our baby got fussy and needed to be fed a couple of times during the session; we didn’t feel rushed and just resumed when the baby had a full stomach.I can’t recommend Giselle enough!

We had a set budget we wanted to spend on our wedding photographer, we had our first meeting with Giselle and she was so incredibly helpful and worked with us to determine a timeline and plan that everyone was happy with.We had our first photo session with Giselle for our engagement photos, and I honestly don't have the words to describe how beautiful they turned out. Giselle is so personable, easy going, and fun to work with; she made us feel so comfortable and we had such a blast, which you can tell from the photos! The lighting, the angles, and the poses that she directed us into clearly display Giselle's skills, experience and expertise.On the day of the wedding, Giselle kept in touch with us throughout the day as it was potentially going to rain and we wanted to do our photos outside. Giselle provided us with alternative locations and also scoped out our preferred spot to determine the best photo ops and where we should have our first look. Luckily for us the rain held off and Giselle got some amazing photos. We couldn't be happier with the photos from the ceremony and reception as well, she captured the emotion, the little details and the fun we all had!Giselle is a dream to work with, delivers excellent work, is always reachable and timely, and is exactly the kind of person you want to have around you on your wedding day (or any day, really) - we were so happy Giselle was recommended to us and will be recommending her to all our friends and family. We also plan on hiring Giselle again for future family photo sessions too!
